Advent Wreath Making

  • All Saints East Dallas 1000 Easton Road Dallas, TX, 75218 United States (map)

Fellowship Dinner and Advent Wreath Making, November 29, Parish Hall immediately after worship. I know, you’re not sure why you want to make an Advent wreath, but trust me, it will be the best thing you’ve done in a long time. Your Advent wreath will help you and your friends or family mark time as Christmas approaches. Each week as Christmas draws closer, you’ll light another candle. The imagery of the light of the world growing as Christmas approaches is powerful. Plus, fire. We all love fire. Please RSVP here.

"Advent is the season which marks the beginning of the liturgical calendar. In this season we prepare for the "coming of Jesus," for that is what advent means, "coming." At the beginning of the season we focus on the second coming of Jesus."
